Where it all began

I was born 1992  in a small town just outside Belfast called Holywood in Northern Ireland. I began my golfing journey age 8 at Holywood Golf Club- a small members club made famous by Rory McIlroy.

Junior golf

I played all my junior and youth golf here representing ladies teams and captaining the junior girls in 2007. I represented Holywood as part of their U19 Girls team between 2007-2011 where we were crowned Ulster Champions in 2008 and 2011.

Beginning a career in golf

At the age of 18 I decided to pursue a career in golf. I was fortunate to begin my PGA training where golf started for me – my home club. I began my PGA training in 2011 under PGA Professional Stephen Crooks. From there I moved to Scrabo Golf Club (Northern Ireland) and continued my training over the course of two years (2011-2013). After my time at Scrabo Golf Club I spent a short spell working at American Golf (Belfast) before making a big career move.

In April 2014 I took up the position as an assistant PGA Professional at Carnoustie Golf Links.

After completing my PGA training in 2015, I am continuing to establish myself as a young, female PGA professional at this prestigious Open venue. I have had the opportunity to work at world renowned amateur and professional golf tournaments such as The Alfred Dunhill Links Championship (2014-Present), The 2016 Seniors Open and the 2015 British Amateur. I look forward to adding the 2018 Open Championship to my career achievements.
